About the Program

BGFN’s Spring 2027 Tax Internship Program provides students with meaningful opportunities to develop technical tax knowledge, strengthen professional skills, and gain valuable exposure to the public accounting profession. Interns work alongside experienced tax professionals while supporting client engagements and tax compliance activities.

Preferred Candidates

• Junior or Senior standing pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Strong academic performance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Interest in taxation, client service, and professional development
• Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and continuous learning

What You Will Do

• Tax return preparation
• Perform tax research and analysis
• Support tax compliance and planning initiatives

• September 2026: Applications Open
• October-November 2026: Application Review & Candidate Screening/Interviews
• December 2026: Offers Extended
• February 1, 2027: Program Kickoff
• February – April 2027: Internship Experience
• April 8-15, 2027: Internship Program Ends: Program wrap-up & Career Discussions
